Najran Water Tower construction is nearing completion. This iconic infrastructure facility, a 100 m high water tank was commissioned in Najran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to boost the water infrastructure in the province. It consists of a water tank and a commercial area and will serve as a landmark in Najran.

UPG Engineering developed detailed structural design of over 7,500 sq. m. of Glass-fibre Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) façade cladding units and the supporting steel structure. Global shape of the architectural cladding is complex, double-curved envelope, subdivided into a number of unique, custom-designed and produced units. Our coordinated BIM models were produced from the base geometry definition and helped keep track of the construction progress and minimized site error risks. Fully detailed BIM models were also later used for multi-disciplines coordination, clash detection and for generation of all the detailed production and installation drawings to help smooth the construction process.
